    Tell us about your business.

Edwards Floral Design is a family owned business that has been in the McKinney
community for 27 years. We have talented designers to provide for all of your floral
needs: birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and funerals. We love helping
companies spruce up their offices, liven up their corporate events, and thank their
customers. We also love helping brides realize their perfect day. We have unique
floral designs, beautiful house plants and exciting succulent arrangements, as well
as balloons, stuffed animals, sweet treats and other gifts.

How you have benefited from being an Ambassador, or comment on your Ambassador
experience / Why are you an Ambassador?

I have loved being an ambassador! It has given me an awesome opportunity to get
to know the McKinney community in a way most people don’t get to. I have made
so many networking connections to help continue to grow our business, and many
    friends as well!

Tell us about your involvement in the Community?

I am a member of First McKinney Baptist Church, as well as a Lifegroup. I have
volunteered with several different organizations through the church, including
    Mission Regan and McKinney Roots

    What are your hobbies?

Well, my 7 month old takes up quite a bit of time, but when I have a few minutes to
myself I enjoy floral designing and cooking

Tell us a bit about yourself and your family.

I was born and raised in Bossier City, Louisiana. I graduated from Baylor
University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science with minors in
Biology and Chemistry. After graduation I moved to Denver for a job as a Deputy
Coroner/ Death Investigator with the Adams County Coroner’s office. I also worked
in coffee for a while, and then as an EMT on an ambulance for 3 years. I
eventually turned my hobby into my job and became the storefront manager and
resident plant lady at Bella Calla Florist. I married my husband, Daniel, in 2015,
and we moved to McKinney in March of 2018 to be closer to my parents. We had
our first daughter in June of 2019. She is more than we could have ever dreamed.
Dan currently works for Calloway’s Nurseries as a landscape designer. I currently
serve as the Marketing Manager for Edwards, and assist with floral design and
    customer service when necessary.
