**The McKinney Chamber, as part of the organization’s safety protocols, has continued to follow local and state guidelines as well as recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and local health authorities. With the CDC’s recent modifications to the guidelines for fully vaccinated individuals, the McKinney Chamber will follow the new guidelines listed below:- To reduce the risk of becoming infected with the Delta variant and potentially spreading it to others: CDC recommends that fully vaccinated people wear a mask in public indoor settings if they are in an area of substantial or high transmission.
- Because Collin county is considered a high transmission area, masks will be worn at all indoor Chamber events and in the Chamber office.
- Unvaccinated people should also continue to wear a mask to protect themselves and others.
- We will continue to monitor Collin County’s transmission rate and adhere to any local, state, or federal guidelines for the Center for Disease Control for any changes to policy.
