    We are looking for a self-motivated, hungry sales professional to build out our new business pipeline and win new marketing partnerships across the North Texas region. In this flexible independent contractor role as a New Business Sales Specialist, you’ll enjoy total flexibility that suits your lifestyle! Work remotely from anywhere you want, and on your schedule - as few as 20 hours per week, and up to 40 hours. All while taking advantage of our many opportunities to continually increase your income. We’re doubling our audience each month and reach tens of thousands of North Texas residents, whether they're looking to pick the city that's right for them, settling into their new home, or wanting to enjoy the best of their hometown and neighborhood. 

    We also work closely with the local business and real estate communities to power their growth through our dynamic Marketing Partnerships. These content-rich programs include numerous sponsorships, original sponsored content, email marketing and video engagement solutions, and more.

    What You Will Be Doing

    As a New Business Sales Specialist, reporting to the Co-Founder / Chief Revenue Officer, you will:

    • Actively build and manage a pipeline of sales prospects across key local business categories. This includes real estate, development and home services, as well as many business verticals beyond real estate (ex. education, finance, retail and more). 

    • Conduct outreach (both phone and email), connect with decision makers, present marketing solutions, and close sales that bring new business partners onto the Check Out DFW platform. Focus on the proper key selling activities that generate new warm leads and then convert them as paying partners. 

    • Document key sales activities in our Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) and report regularly on progress to sales goals: successes, challenges, risks and emerging opportunities. 

    • Set and manage client expectations appropriately for each sale, including features and benefits, costs, delivery and turnaround timelines, ad trafficking schedules and more.

    • Make Sales! Post-sale support responsibilities are very minimal. This role is purpose-built to acquire new business customers. 

     Compensation

    • Compensation is commission-based, with lucrative earning potential of $65,000+ annually as sales are made and quarterly revenue targets are reached and exceeded. This includes: 

    • 40% commission on sales! 

    • Extra commission for all 6 & 12-month sales

    • Upsell opportunities with existing clients + additional retention commission 

    • Robust, uncapped quarterly bonuses for meeting & exceeding sales goals 

    • This is an independent contractor position, working a minimum of 20 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week
