• Lead Extrusion Blown Film Operator

    We are seeking experienced blown film extrusion operators to safely perform a combination of productions tasks, which may include: set up of jobs, reading the production schedule, reading and understanding work instructions and blueprints. Proficient at running multi-layer extrusion and downstream equipment. Assists supervisor in covering the production floor, training new associates on safety, housekeeping and other aspects of the production process. Day and night shifts available.

    This is a start-up operation and will likely require travel to other locations for onboarding and training.

    Knowledge and Skills preferred:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • 3 years of blown film extrusion experience
    • Ability to read production schedule, work order and work procedures in English
    • Experience training new associates
    • Communication skills and teamwork
    • Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
    • Mechanical aptitude
    • Knowledge of resins and additives

    Job location / working conditions / equipment:

    Production setting standing for 12 hours operating standard manual and powered equipment used in the manufacturing of blown film products, such as measuring tools, hand tools, power tools, pallet jack and forklift. Physically capable of frequently climbing 60′ towers, bending, lifting 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, twisting and reaching. Able to work in hot or cold temperatures.
