    Description

    Hodgson, Nash & Gwynn, CPA’s is hiring a full-time Relationship Manager to assist the firm by fulfilling Executive Assistant, Client Service, Office Management, Marketing & Receptionist based responsibilities.

    Responsibilities

    The Relationship Manager will be responsible for:

    • Maintaining constant and timely client communication over the phone, in person and electronically.
    • Updating and maintaining the client portal and engagement software for each client.
    • Keeping management and support staff updated on the status of each client.
    • Supporting internal process development regarding communication and related procedures.
    • Answering and directing calls from the main line.
    • Writing and distributing content to clients regarding important timelines, changes in rules/regulations, etc., to increase engagement via email/CRM system.
    • Managing the HNG social media pages with content updates and responding to incoming comments/requests.

    The ideal candidate will: 

    • Be a self-starter and possess a can-do attitude.
    • Be friendly and maintain a professional manner and appearance as the first impression clients will have of the firm in person and over the phone.
    • Be able to communicate in a positive and professional manner internally and externally as the “gate-keeper” for management.
    • Look for and provide solutions to management that will improve processes, systems, etc., as needed.
    • Be able to keep office personnel on schedule and up to date on client statuses.
    • Not hesitate to pick up the phone and reach out to clients promptly upon request.
    • Want to work in a team-player office setting and take ownership of opportunities to contribute to the organization which encourages, and values input from staff at all levels.

    Qualifications

    • Recommended 2+ year college degree in related industry.
    • Required 2+ years of experience in a related role.
    • Exceptional communication skills required.
    • Previous Tax/Bookkeeping office support staff experience is required.
    • Previous knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
    • Previous knowledge of TaxDome is a plus.
    • Able to maintain an elevated level of confidentiality and must pass a background check.
    • Able to work in a high-paced environment and multi-task between various responsibilities.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
