• Meet The McKinney Chamber Summer Interns

The McKinney Chamber of Commerce is pleased to introduce you to our summer interns, Logan Everett and Delaney Neal. They will be assisting the Chamber with projects and tasks in all areas and programs. We hope that they will challenge us and bring fresh, new ideas to the table. During their time here, it’s our goal to present them with skills that they can use wherever they go, such as work ethic, focus, responsibility, professionalism and social skills.

    A little about Logan…
Logan graduated from McKinney High School in 2018 and will attend the University of Arkansas in the fall.

“I maintained a rigorous AP centered curriculum throughout high school.  I have carried that work ethic to my 10 years playing travel baseball, and both fall and spring district baseball for my high school teams.  I am a self-taught musician, after being deaf from birth, and having corrective surgery when I was three years old.  I like to spend my free time playing guitar, piano and violin.  I also enjoy studying music theory when I am not studying for school, playing baseball or giving baseball lessons to youth in my community.”

    A little about Delaney…
Delaney graduated from McKinney Boyd High School in 2014.  She played two years of college softball at Sam Houston State University and another two years at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. She worked as a receptionist and also as a softball instructor while attending college. She plans to finish her degree at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2019 with a major in mathematics and a secondary education teaching certificate.

"I am a very dedicated and dependable professional. I bring a positive attitude to the work environment and I am very excited about this opportunity with the McKinney Chamber of Commerce. I look forward to learning more about the chamber and all it does for my hometown of McKinney, TX."

As you see them out and about, we hope you’ll take a few minutes to introduce yourselves and welcome them!
