McKinneyOnline.com is getting a makeover

It feels like Christmas at the McKinney Chamber and it's not just because it's that time of year. On Monday, we are going to launch the NEW and IMPROVED McKinneyOnline.com. It's like unwrapping a Christmas present as we "flip the switch" and activate the new site. 

For over 25 years, the Chamber has made it a priority to communicate information, promote events, showcase businesses and tell the stories of McKinney through its publication, McKinney Magazine and McKinneyOnline.com. During the last few years, the Chamber Board has focused its efforts on keeping the vision of McKinney Magazine and incorporating those goals through the McKinneyOnline.com site. 

The new website will still have features that include a community calendar, business directory and stories about our community. In the next couple of months we'll be educating our Members on how they can utilize and maximize the business directory portion of the site which will help connect the community to our businesses. We will also be looking for contributors for content. Our motto has been and will continue to be - For the Community, About the Community, By the Community. 

The Chamber has partnered with a local company, Supports Local. They have helped build this new platform with the goal to help promote local businesses. 

I can't wait for our Members to see the changes on Monday morning. Be on the lookout for an email from the Chamber that will provide instructions on how to claim your business in the business directory and build out your profile. I look forward to hearing your feedback. It is our mission to empower our members to achieve economic success and we continue to identify ways to help promote our businesses. I believe this website will help accomplish just that.
