What is the name of your business and where are you located?
NFC Life  located in McKinney, Texas.

Give us a brief description of your business.
NFC Life is a family owned business that was established in 1976 in Dallas, Texas. Our company provides affordable voluntary benefits for both individuals and companies. We offer policies including heart, cancer and cancer outpatient, accident, emergency room, and intensive care coverage. We are the only company in the industry that has a bundled policy which gives you coverage in all of these areas for one low price.

    Why are you an Ambassador?
I love being an ambassador for the chamber because it has allowed me to be more involved with my community. I have been a resident of McKinney for 23 years and I have seen it grow in so many ways. I want to see it continue to flourish and I believe that the ambassadors play a key part in welcoming new businesses to our city as well and maintaining good relationships with our current members.

Tell us about your involvement in the community?
Over the years I have served our community in many areas. I have served as a board member on two school athletic booster clubs, served as president of my tennis association, I currently serve as secretary on the McKinney Area Alumnae Panhellenic executive board, and I was a founding member of the National Charity League Sunflower chapter and served on its board for 3 years.

    6. What are your hobbies?
My hobbies include traveling, shopping, exercising and binge watching shows on Netflix. I love trying new restaurants and exploring new areas in the DFW area.

Can you share a little about yourself and your family?
I grew up in Carrollton, Texas and graduated from the University of North Texas with a BBA in Marketing. I have been married to Cary for 25 years. We have two children, Carter (23) and Abigail (20). Both of my children grew up attending MISD schools and playing sports in our community.
