    Tell us about your business
I flunked retirement…twice!  So, after the latest time I returned to the workforce as a Realtor with Keller Williams, McKinney in 2010.  I live to serve others with any real estate needs and have enjoyed many terrific opportunities during the past eleven years, in Collin County and all surrounding counties.  Before this I had a wonderful career in the hotel business, beginning with Marriott Hotels when they had 11 hotels and ending as an officer of the West Coast company of Red Lion Hotels.

Tell us about your involvement in the Community?
It has been a pleasure to be an Ambassador these eleven years.  Michael Dodson got me started.  I wanted to serve and give back to my community, welcome the new businesses to this great city and get to know it fast!  I continue to enjoy meeting and welcoming the new businesses.  I also serve on the volunteer Board of Directors of McKinney Community Concerts Association (MCCA), participate with the LINKS group, volunteer for McKinney Meals-on-Wheels and my wife and I organize FUMC’s Canafax Sunday School class.

Tell us a bit about yourself and your family.
Personally, I grew up in Bethesda, Maryland and Dubuque, Iowa.  I attended Indiana University and was in the U.S.A.F. for four years.  Ann & I have been married over 50 years and lived in many places—the areas of Wash., D. C. (3 times), Chicago, San Francisco, New Orleans, Portland (OR.), Bend (OR.) and then we hurried to Texas!  We were blessed with two children--our son Chris, who after college backpacked around the world and after 18 months tragically was killed in Venezuela in a mountain hiking accident…and our daughter Louise who lives in Dallas with Justin has blessed us with our three grandchildren.
