Give us a brief description of your business.
The Payton Brooks Agency offers insurance and financial services along with education so that clients can make the best decision concerning their needs. Because we are all in different season and stages of life, clients have different goals and objectives they are trying to reach and meet. Working together, we help clients pursue this end while protecting and building all at the same time. From saving for a child’s college education to saving for retirement our agency can help. We provide insurance for home, vehicles, businesses and even income protection. We want to help our clients protect and build their future.
How have you benefited from being an Ambassador?
I have been and Ambassador for thirteen years and it has opened the door of communication with long term community leaders and new business owners. It has given me the opportunity to get to know others while others also are getting to know about me.
Tell us about your involvement in the Community?
I have served in several roles in the Chamber including Links. I am a long-term member of the McKinney Kiwanis Club. Also, I am the treasurer for the Collin County Conservative Republicans, and an advisor for the Generation Joshua Club in McKinney. I am active in my church where my wife Jennifer and I teach fourth grade Sunday School.
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy spending time with my family while bike riding, hunting, or fishing. I also enjoy small woodworking projects.
Can you share a little about yourself and your family?
I received a business management degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. I worked in the grocery business for twenty years before beginning my insurance agency in 2004. My wife Jennifer, and I have been married for twenty-six years. We have five children from the ages of twenty-two to nine. Between piano, guitar, drums, and singing, to painting, sewing, baking, bike riding, football, and school, we stay busy keeping up with everything. We also have one dog and believe it or not, three cats! Our main goal is to honor God in all we do.
