Give us a brief description of your business.
Topgolf is a global sports entertainment venue complete with dynamic event spaces and a food and drink menu that puts the average sports bar to shame. Whether you are looking for a casual day with the family or a unique place for your next corporate event, social party, team builder, or birthday party, Topgolf is the perfect venue. It is flat-out fun for any age group, skill level, or time of year.
Why are you an Ambassador?
Being an Ambassador has been a great way to get involved, connect with the community, and support our local business owners. The Chamber provides so many different valuable resources businesses and the community. As an Event Sales Consultant for Topgolf Allen, I’ve been able to develop (business to business) relationships with fellow chamber members to bring awareness to the game of Topgolf as well as refer my own clients to other McKinney businesses. To me, this is the most rewarding part of my position¬—I get to represent the Topgolf brand and help our local community.
Tell us about your involvement in the Community?
I’ve helped multiple, local non-profit organizations plan fundraising golf tournaments at Topgolf. Every year I am actively involved in coordinating the Allen Public Safety Recovery Fund to help the Allen Police and Fire Departments raise money to support local firefighters and police officers. I’ve also volunteered at different local events in McKinney and Allen such as PSA McKinney & Plano. I am always looking for new places to volunteer my time and be actively involved in our community.
What are your hobbies?
In my “spare time,” I enjoy spending time with my family, playing outside with my three-year-old son, seeing live music, and supporting our downtown McKinney boutiques.
Can you share a little about yourself and your family?
I’m from Palestine, Texas. I Graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Human Services. I married my husband in 2014, and we have one son, Reid, and a Yorkshire Terrier, Lilly Bear. My husband is an attorney in Dallas, and I actually began working at Topgolf in 2013 in order to support my family while he attended law school.
