Give us a brief description of your business.
A locally owned and managed agency, licensed by the State of Texas, and a member of the Texas Association of Personnel Consultants. Under new ownership and after years of International Staffing, Gwen O’Connor and her family relocated to McKinney and now call it “home”. Gwen has over 20 years of experience in the staffing industry and is excited to retain the team and carry on the legacy of Quality Personnel.
How have you benefited from being an Ambassador?
Since becoming an Ambassador for the Chamber I have had the privilege of meeting some wonderful people. I have been able to network with a vast number of business owners, employees and other marketing directors in an effort to grow Quality Personnel Service.
Tell us about your involvement in the Community?
I volunteer at my Veterinarians office; I participate in rides to help support our United States Veterans; I recently offered to volunteer for McKinney’s Meals on Wheels.
What are your hobbies?
Travel, music, spending time with my kids (the 4 legged kind) and friends. And, I love spending time in my pool or on a beach and riding motorcycles. Harley-Davidson of course.
Can you share a little about yourself and your family?
I have lived in McKinney for almost four years. Prior to that, I lived in Plano for over 25 years having moved here from Kansas. I have five children, four girls and one boy; a Yorkie, Emma; a mix, Harper; Maltese, Ollie; long-haired domestic white cat, Zoe; short-haired domestic black cat, Lily. I love and miss my parents every single day and I love working with Senior Citizens.
