• Ambassador Spotlight - John Breton

What is the name of your business and where are you located?
John Breton – Vivial Media in Downtown McKinney.

Give us a brief description of your business.
It’s been said, “The best place to hide a body is...on the 2nd page of Google results.” We help make sure your business isn’t hidden there too. Vivial is a local marketing technology company with offices in McKinney, Fort Worth, San Antonio, NYC, Seattle, St. Louis, Honolulu, Atlanta, etc. We help local businesses find and connect with customers online via Google, Yahoo, Bing, FB, YouTube, Instagram, blogs and email through content, reviews, and our award winning blend of technology and dedicated customer support.

How have you benefited from being an Ambassador?
I moved from Atlanta last August. Being an ambassador helped me establish and grow our North Dallas footprint quickly and get better acquainted with our great city. I am an ambassador because I want to help local businesses know that they aren’t in business alone and reinforce that there’s a team of people who want their business to succeed and who personally want to get to know & help them.

Tell us about your involvement in the Community?
I am honored to be involved as an ambassador, serve with Volunteer McKinney, serve in hospitality and marketing leadership with VLife Church (Church and Davis Street), and I’m a proud Stormy Petrel and member of the Board of Trustees at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. My family owns and operates a chain of twenty-one comfort shoe stores in Virginia, Maryland, and DC.

    What are your hobbies?
I Love to travel. I’ve visited 26 countries around the globe and I hope to see more than 50 in my lifetime. Munich, Bora Bora, Istanbul, Barcelona, Cinque Terre, Prague, and Punta Cana are among my favorite cities so far. I also played college tennis and love to play whenever I get the chance. We belong to Stonebridge Ranch CC for tennis and social opportunities.

Can you share a little about yourself and your family?
We are “Team Breton”: Me, my wife of fourteen great years, Anna, our 10 year old daughter “Evie” and rescue dog Cooper. My wife works as the Director of The Center of Excellence at Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers. She formerly worked at Chick-fil-A, Inc and The Ritz Carlton Hotel Corporation. We met through our Alma Mater Oglethorpe University. Evie is a 4th grader at McKinney Christian Academy. Evie is settling in to Texas Life pretty well and she’s enjoying Upward Basketball and MCA’s Honor Choir. She even convinced her Grandma to leave Atlanta and move a few blocks from us in April. Thanks for welcoming us to McKinney and for all the support. We are happy to be here and look forward to getting to know you better.

    Blessings, Team Breton
