• Ambassador Spotlight - David Riche

What is the name of your business and where are you located?
Riche Realty. I live in McKinney and provide service to all of north Texas

Give us a brief description of your business.
I’m a Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams. I specialize in all aspects of residential real estate in the Dallas/Ft Worth TX area. I always have my client’s best interest in mind and I’m continuously seeking to stay ahead of the game when it comes to market education and trends. I greatly value the business and personal relationships that I have with my clients. Nothing is better than a repeat client and especially referrals.

How have you benefited from being an Ambassador?
I was drawn to ambassadorship from my membership and participation with the Chamber. Ambassadorship has given me the opportunity to connect almost weekly with fellow ambassadors, community leaders, and new business owners to McKinney. I’m always looking for ways to meet, engage, and connect with people in the community so becoming an ambassador was a natural fit. Being a small business owner, I know the importance of community and what that means to a small business owner.  There is a sense of pride that comes with welcoming businesses to our great community that sends a message of ‘you’re not in this alone.’ In addition, I also follow up with chamber members and encourage them to stay involved and connect through our many resources and opportunities.

Tell us about your involvement in the Community?
I have been involved with the Chamber for a couple of years and it has given me the opportunity to build relationships within the community that I didn’t think were possible. In addition to being an ambassador, I also serve on the Government and Legislative Committee. This last year, I became a neighborhood HOA board member and president. These experiences have taught me the value of open communication, transparency, and collaboration with every aspect of the community, which is vital for the success of the neighborhood and my work with the chamber. I bring my passion and knowledge of real estate to aide in the decisions in keeping the community a desired place to live. I also volunteer to support Special Olympics and other causes that promote awareness to children and adults with special needs.

Can you share a little about yourself and your family?
Originally from Baytown Texas, I’m a US Navy Veteran. My wife Sally has worked for McKinney ISD for over 20 years in the Special Populations Department. We enjoy almost anything that has to do with being outside from mountain biking, golf, running, and to our happy place at Lake Texhoma.
We have found a great home in McKinney and have built long lasting friendships.
