How you have benefited from being an Ambassador?
I have been a McKinney Chamber member since 2002 and an Ambassador for almost two decades. The Ambassador program has enabled me to more comprehensively network with other Chamber members. Moreover, being an Ambassador has expanded my horizons as an entrepreneur within the McKinney business community, providing me with new concepts and ideas to maximize my LegalShield’s business plan.

I recently have begun to participate in Collin County’s Meals-on-Wheels food deliveries. Finally, I have been an active participant, in various roles, at McKinney’s First United Methodist Church.

Tell us a bit about yourself and your family
I spent the first forty years of my life on the East Coast - thirty miles north west of New York City. Our Family moved with Corporate JCPenney to Plano in 1987. Most of my Penney career was focused on fine jewelry wholesale procurement for all of our JCPenney stores across the Country. We first visited McKinney in 1988, travelling on 121’s two lane road, and knew then that we, at some point, would move to McKinney’s historic district which finally happened in 2003. We have two boys, one whom had passed away in 2000. Our other Son is a Plano Firefighter and lives in McKinney, about ½ mile away from us. My wife is now retired though spent many years teaching dental hygiene at Quad C and later at Baylor College of Dentistry in downtown Dallas. She has become an active participant within McKinney’s art community, enjoys book club, and plays mahjong.
