My business is called BB&T, and it is located in Mckinney (Eldorado & Ridge).
Give us a brief description of your business.
We offer small business and consumer accounts, competitive rewards credit cards and many lending options with a distinct level of service above and beyond normal banking. From basic needs to Small business lending, Wealth clients, Mortgage lending and Home Equity Lines of Credit, at BB&T, “All We See Is You!”
Why are you an Ambassador?
Being an Ambassador over the past 4 years has helped me learn more about my community as well as see McKinney through other business owners’ eyes.
Tell us about your involvement in the community?
I have served on local nonprofit boards, volunteer for many organizations here, and have also given much of my time to MISD as a Partner In Education member. I help the Chamber annually with the New Teacher Breakfast partnership with MISD. My favorite thing I get to do each day is help local residents and business owners achieve financial security and economic success!
Easter Seals and the American Cancer Society both benefit from donations from sales. I attend as many Chamber Ribbon Cuttings as possible
What are your hobbies?
I love to go to the Skate park with my youngest son. I have also enjoyed working with my oldest son on our 1966 Mustang over the past 2 years. It has been a fun hobby that never ends as well as a wonderful bonding experience.
Can you share a little about yourself and your family?
I am the proud mom of a 15 yr. old 10th grader and a 9yr. old 4th grader, both MISD honor roll kids. We have lived in McKinney since we purchased our first home 18 years ago.
