Deb Fitzgerald with Preceptor Award

The Preceptor Award recognizes the cornerstone of successful leadership development efforts - the program director. Five directors of community leadership programs from across the nation were recognized for their outstanding communication skills, creativity, trusteeship, ethics, mentoring and dedication to the concept of strengthening and transforming communities.

Chamber staff member, Deb Fitzgerald, Director of Leadership & Membership Development, was honored at the 2011 annual ALP Conference in Dallas this month.

Award recipients have proven to be innovative in their role as program director, going above and beyond while achieving a new standard of excellence, establishing new directions, initiatives and goals for the program and its graduates.

Deb Fitzgerald has been involved in the Chamber's Leadership McKinney programs for over 7 years. Congratulations, Deb!
