COLLIN COUNTY TRANSIT NEEDS ASSESSMENT AND PLANNING STUDY Public Transit Input Meetings to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 30 and 31 in Collin County cities. The public is invited to participate in meetings to learn about the Collin County Transit Planning Study and share their input. Each meeting is one hour. TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30 - Frisco

10:00-11:00 AM Plano Environmental Education Center, Meeting Room, 4116 W. Plano Pkwy., Plano, TX 75093 (DART Route 350 serves this location) The Transit Needs Assessment and Planning Study for Collin County is evaluating unserved transit demands and service options for Collin County. This study will identify needs for public transportation and create a menu of transit options that could be implemented in the next three to five years. NCTCOG has contracted with Nelson\Nygaard Associates, a firm that specializes in public transportation planning, to lead the study effort for Collin County. The purpose of the Public Transit Input Meetings is to share information about the study, present preliminary findings, and to hear from members of the public about transportation needs and priorities, as well as the vision for public transportation in Collin County. Representatives from NCTCOG and Nelson\Nygaard will be present to address comments and answer questions.
