Women's Alliance of McKinney Bunco Charity Event Benefitting Hope's Door |
|
|
The Women’s Alliance of McKinney (WAM) invites you to join them for their Bunco Charity Night on Friday, June 15. This event will benefit Hope’s Door Charity with five dollars of every registration going to the organization. Other monetary donations will be accepted as well.
Hope’s Door is the only battered women’s shelter in Collin County. They provide direct intervention and prevention services to Texas families affected by domestic abuse in Collin County, Dallas County and surrounding areas. Hope’s Door Shelter opened its doors in 1989 providing temporary housing to victims. Since 1989, Hope's Door has provided safe shelter for over 6,000 women and their children, and answered over 30,000 crisis line calls.
WAM will also be holding a membership drive during this event.
- If a current WAM Member brings a friend that is interested in joining, that friend’s registration is free.
- If the friend registers to become a WAM Member during Bunco Night, the friend’s Nothing But Networking registration will be free in August. What a great deal!
The WAM Bunco Charity Night will be held at the McKinney Chamber Office Building from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The first thirty minutes will be a “learn to play” session. The game will start at 5:30 and you must be present at that time to play. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served.
