Sponsorship & Event Opportunities

Engaged Chamber members strengthen the business climate in our community, and one avenue for engagement is through sponsorships. The Chamber’s many programs and events provide members the opportunity for visibility, community recognition and identification with one of the most influential Chambers in Texas. It’s a win-win for both the Chamber and the member business. Sponsoring member businesses are able to target marketing dollars in a cost-effective way, allowing for participation in significant events.

Ribbon Cuttings & Grand Openings

Ribbon Cuttings, Groundbreaking Ceremonies and Grand Opening Recognition are offered as a membership benefit for members joining at the Investor Partner level and above. These celebrations are an opportunity for our members to announce their affiliation with the McKinney Chamber of Commerce and utilize the Chamber events marketing to promote their business to our members and the community. The event includes the presentation of a membership plaque for display and a business card wallet that includes contact information for Chamber staff and ambassadors. The ribbon cutting photo is included on our Facebook posts and will appear in the Chamber’s monthly E-newsletter as a Chamber Ribbon Cutting Event.  VIP Ribbon Cutting events are provided for our Major Investors of the McKinney Chamber and include the opportunity to invite our board members, major investors of the Chamber and local officials and other VIPs.

New Resident Outreach

New Resident Welcome Bags: The Chamber distributes 100 welcome bags monthly to new McKinney residents. Delivered by McKinney’s waste management contractor, Waste Connections, when new service is initiated, Chamber members may include collateral for only $5 per month. Some levels of membership include this benefit.

Newcomer Mailing List: A monthly listing of new residents based on deed transactions is available to Chamber members via email for $25 per month, $45 for not-yet-members.

Visitor, Business and Relocation Guide

We are pleased to offer an annual guide designed as a comprehensive resource for businesses residents. Available online or in print, this publication helps provides an overview of our history, demographics and amenities available to those already living here as well as for those looking to relocate.

The Chamber produces 10,000 (up to 20,000) high-quality, four-color glossy copies that features a detailed street map of McKinney, as well as an area map of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex; points of interest including parks, schools, public buildings, hospitals, shopping centers; and a business resource index, which marks the exact location of advertisers businesses. The map is available digitally through McKinneyChamber.com.
