Legislative Issues Survey Results

What issues matter most to our Members? Not surprisingly transportation, education, and workforce development & recruitment top the list of concerns businesses have in the coming year. Some good news in the mix is that our Members report the feel the economy is improving (47%) with 45% of respondents feel it is staying the same. The business community overwhelming support the McKinney National Airport as a means of economic development. 

While the survey is not statistically valid, we are using the results as a first step in crafting our priorities. The information provided the Chamber is a temperature read of how businesses feel about key issues affecting their success. We will take this information to do a deeper dive, through focus groups, to really understand our Members concerns on these issues.
